Candlewood Suites Building 144

I am rating this hotel in terms of on post hotels. My room had all the amenities to make a long stay comfy, right down to the full size fridge, cook top, large closet, extra hangers and laundry basket. The staff was pleasant and housekeeping came daily to refresh the room. That was a plus. I did have a few cricket get into my room which was had me a little irked but appears that it's common for that area. Oh, and salute to the breakfast team. They were very pleasant and kept us fueled each morning. Overall great stay.

Very pleasantly surprised! This is probably the top 1 or 2 army IHG hotels I've stayed at within the last 9 years. Staff very respectful and courteous. I forgot what it was like living in the south. I cannot complement the staff enough. Breakfast was good; I didn't get a chance to use the hotel gym. I don't know when it was built or remodeled, but it still had that new feeling to it. Conveniently located near the PX, commissary and memorials/museums. There's a food court and express/shopette within walking distance. Great value. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was one of the best stays I have ever had at a hotel! The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly clean. Breakfast consisted of egg omelette, biscuits, bacon, pancakes, muffins, danishes, bagels, and fruit. There was a sweet German lady who was seriously on top of her game! She kept food stocked and was very helpful. The pool was open and refreshing! I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

First time staying at this location. My room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. There's a full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher; along with utensils and basic kitchen needs. I don't need all this for a few nights, but if I was staying here for a couple weeks, it would have come in handy. The staff is nice and helpful, the cleaning personnel do a great job. I honestly have no complaints and I'm impressed for such a nice place in a Military installation. Will definitely stay here again! Complimentary breakfast, pool, laundry, gym, and computer with printing.

Stayed here for three nights waiting on my apartment. Love the kitchenette. The hotel was up to date and breakfast was very good. It’s a mile or so away from the Exchange and Commissary, but we were provided a map and good directions. Ensure you stop at the visitors center to be placed in the system and you won’t have any trouble getting on base.

Very clean hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Very friendly staff in a great location on base. It’s a really good value if you’re visiting Ft Hood.

Customer service is excellent. Autumn the customer service associate, even though I was checking out went out of her way to find me breakfast when she didn’t have to. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great choice if you need to stay somewhere temporarily!
